Castles and Mountains

Magnificent Caernarfon Castle, built in the 13th century to subdue the Welsh, one of the largest of Wales' Medieval Castles and the site of the Investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales in 1969.  Caernarfon and Snowdonia are two of the main visitor destinations in Wales and a tour can be organised of Welsh Medieval Castles (Conwy, Beaumaris, Harlech and many more), together with stunning scenery and magnificent mountains climbed by foot or narrow-gauge railway.
