Snowdonia EventsThere is so much to do, see and enjoy near Snowdonia hotels all year round. North Wales is not just for summertime as there is a wide selection of incredible events throughout the year featuring music, culture, art, food and much more.

The Ty’n Rhos Snowdonia hotel is perfectly situated for guests wishing to experience the best events in the region as it is found half way between the cities of Bangor and Caernarfon and not far from the medieval town of Conwy. This means that our hotel is located among the beautiful and natural Snowdonia landscape but it is still a short and convenient trip from massive events.

As well as fantastic local events nearby we host our very own events here at the hotel to entertain and delight you. It is not long now until our Gourmet Evening on the 9th of November with a totally sumptuous menu. That is not the end of the wonderful November events as we are bringing you are ‘Dine with Bordeaux’ evening on the 30th of November.

If you adore wine then this is the event for you because it is our wine tasting event featuring wines from the Bordeaux region of France. There will be canapés and a four course French themed meal to compliment the marvellous selections of reds, whites and roses. The event is £59 per person and that is all inclusive of the food and wines. There are even special discounts on our rooms available for the night starting from £80 per room.

There will be some amazing upcoming local events in the region too this autumn and winter such as the Gwledd Conwy Feast This annual celebration of food is more of a festival than just a feast with live music performances throughout the event in addition to all the delicious food. The feast is taking place next weekend on Saturday the 26th of October and Sunday the 27th. The medieval town of Conwy is less than a half hour drive from Ty’n Rhos so you can revel in the excitement of the feast yet spend the night relaxing in one of the very best Snowdonia hotels. With plenty of sampling stalls, food exhibitions, cocktail marquees, music performers and artistic performances you can have a delightful October weekend discovering the food culture of North Wales.

Caernarfon is also a hub of excellent events at any time of year. Coming soon is the Halloween Train from the Harbour station on the 31st of October. This is a great fancy dress party if you love Halloween themes. On the second of November there will be a craft stall in Caernarfon where you can acquire plenty of local artistic creations and the 1st of December brings you the Galeri Caernarfon’s Christmas market. With a huge assortment of art, local produce and beautiful Christmas gifts and decorations it is the ideal way to get into the Christmas spirit while staying in luxurious accommodation.
