Gourmet Evening this November at Tyn Rhos

We here at Ty’n Rhos take great pride in the excellent standards of our special events with 2012’s gourmet evening creating quite a positive stir to all tasters. Thanks to the success of that menu, we are re-introducing our fantastic ranges for November – a delicious way to warm up that cold winter belly.

The highest of quality tastes are available to which are sourced from the superb local produce. There’s no more exquisite meat in all of Britain than that which you find in Wales with our dish only using the freshest and best cuts of Welsh beef. Enjoy a glass of wine which is suitably catered towards each flavour you try on the night by the geniuses over at Tanners wine merchants.

As a night of fine dining should be, you can indulge your palate with the specially and thoughtfully crafted menu with eight courses available for your delight. The utmost of passion went into creating a gorgeous selection for you and your friends to delve into with the introduction being a plate of canapés with the garnish atop the bread being of the highest order.

Move on to the home smoked Loch Duart salmon and discover yet more intriguing tastes as you discuss the ingredients with company. Onto a more local affair, you can tuck into a gorgeous Caerphilly twice baked soufflé which almost speaks for the local culture in its richness. The lobster ravioli is a classic taste and again, is one not to be missed.

Give in to your sweet tooth with a delightful Penderyn whisky and local honey parfait with the drink breathing much verve and life into an already vibrant dessert. Why not sample some dark chocolate marquis on your evening? The chocolate, lime and raspberry complements each other perfectly and is an ideal way to wind down before you try out some local Welsh cheese and petit fours served with a refreshing coffee.

The chefs at Ty’n Rhos will welcome conversation after your meal and may even offer tips and tricks for you to try at home. A representative from Tanners will be on-hand all night to guide you through the wine selection and will also help field any questions.
