Galeri Caernarfon presents Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers in October 2013

The show takes place on October 12th 2013 and promises to wow all those that watch. You’ll feel the energy and power of the unique performance, as you enjoy one of the most successful taiko drum groups in the world. Mugenkyo have done over a thousand shows and show their dedication and passion in every single show, with music perfect for the soul, traditional spirit all combined with spectacular lights and sound – captivating audiences all over the globe.

The Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers are the UK’s longest established taiko ensemble and are Europe’s only professional touring company of this fantastic performing art. The group have built up and maintained a solid reputation for their gritty passionate style, setting themselves at the forefront of Taiko drumming on this continent through their rigorous training and experimentation in their music.

Mugenkyo’s main work is touring a full length theatre concert, where they perform in such arenas as the London Queen Elizabeth Hall, Gateshead Sage, Cardiff St, David’s Hall, Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, Brighton Theatre Royal, Glasgow Pavilion Theatre and the Edinburgh Usher Hall – among many other prestigious venues. The group also have experience performing on outdoor stages at a wide variety of music festivals, producing commissions for large-scale multi-media event, having released a range of CDs and DVDs – along with having the pleasure of performing on the Brit Awards and Last Night of the Proms.
