Explore Caernarfon Castle - The Young People’s Walk by Haf Llewelyn

Caernarfon CastleThe Young People’s Walk by Haf Llewelyn is the perfect way to explore Caernarfon Castle’s ground and history, as well as learn more about what exactly happened here and all the details surrounding the story and development of Caernarfon Castle. Welsh young people’s writer and poet, Haf Llewleyn will be leading the walk and will be uncovering the history and creative side of what life was like between the stone walls all those years ago.

The event will be taking place in Welsh and is perfect for both fluent speakers and people learning and runs in partnership with Literature Wales, who combined have aimed this event, as well as many others at younger people aged 8 to 15. The event is set to be adventurous, educational and a lot of fun, with a few surprises maybe waiting around the corner!

Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of 2 young people per adult. The Young People’s Walk is a perfect way to spend the afternoon and is available for entry for £4 - £7. The walk is no more than a mile long, but is unsuitable for wheelchairs.  Advanced booking is important, so call Literature Wales should you be interested.

Caernarfon Castle is only a short drive from Tyn Rhos Country House Caernarfon Hotel and a must 'to do' for any visitors to the area.
