The 2012 Olympic Torch visits Caernarfon May 28th

The 2012 Olympic Torch will be entering Caernarfon on Sunday May 87th at 16.22pm. The torch will be carried by Anna Williams from Waunfawr.

The torch will arrive at Caernarfon just after 5:20pm, and will be travelling through South Road, A4086, Penllyn, Bridge Street, Castle Square, Castle Hill, Slate Quay, Castle Ditch, Castle Street, Market Street, Bank Quay, Glan Mor Ucha, Ffordd Balaclava Road, North Road, and will arrive at Bangor Road.

There will also a mini games event for the local children as well as Paralympic events.
The journey of the 2012 Games Torch will attract many tourists to the North Wales seaside resorts, such as Bangor, Llandudno, Towyn and Rhyl.
