Refurbishment Programme Stage 1

After taking over Ty'n Rhos in September we have been eagerly awaiting our plans to refurbish parts of the property.

September and October were busy months with leisure guests taking short breaks with us. In November and December our plans were at the drawing stage and going through the necessary building requirements and regulations. We commenced works in January, refurbishing some bedrooms and in February works began on the bar and reception areas.

We can excitedly now tell you how we are getting on...

We have completely refurbished room 5, as a standard double room in black and cream which we love but we are a little biased!!!

Room 10, again another standard double/twin room, in lovely shades of brown and cream, a huge improvement on the previous lilac and yellow!

Room 17, our largest and premier courtyard room with its own private garden area, has been totally transformed with beautiful chunky oak furniture, and decorated in biege and gold. It is open for bookings as from Monday 19th March 2012.

Last week we had a new bar installed hand built by a local craftsman in beautiful hard wood ash, the rounded mosaque wall next to the bar really does add a touch of decadence.

Currently we are in the middle of the installation of the new reception, once again built by the same craftsman as the bar, so this time we know before its installed that the end result will be fabulous!

Finally when all this work is completed hopefully at the end of March we will also be re-carpeting the bar and dining room to finish everything off. We will post pictures of the new areas when they are completed!
