Bill Swann
Following a career in management ceramics and PR Bill returned to university to complete a BA Hons degree in Glass Design. Bill has exhibited throughout the UK, Holland, Germany, New York and Japan and work in the collection of the Museum of Arts and Crafts Hamburg, Germany. An exhibition of Bill’s work was featured to coincide with the opening of the National Glass Museum in Sunderland. Public commissions include glass etched screens for Pwllheli Town Hall, glass panels in the Leisure Centre Porthmadog,The National Writers Centre for Wales and Celtic Manor Golf Resort Newport Wales Mouth blown lead crystal glass is cut and collaged to produce the fluid designs evocative of the sea, lakes and rivers of Snowdonia where Bill has his studio. Pictures ,screens, door and window panels for both interior and exterior applications Bill works to Public,Private and Ecclesiastical commissions and is happy to discuss proposals to incorporate his work.
