Q. I have been working with my current web designer for years and feel we have a great understanding of each other based on this. Is there any way I can have the benefits of minisite™ and still work with my existing web designer/developer?
A. The answer to this is yes! We have a great history of working successfully with other graphic designers, web developers and other technical experts. We aim to apply the highest professional standards in all our dealings and methodologies. Q. I know minisite™ has some really great features but what happens if Livetech go out of business or are bought out for millions of pounds by a multi-national rival?
A. Even though all minisites are built on an extremely innovative software platform they are still built to accepted web standards. This means you or any competent web designer can easily make a copy of your site and then upload it to some standard web server space. Some tools to help you do this can be found at http://www.httrack.com or even www.archive.org Way Back Machine (where you may be able to see various versions of your minisite™ over past months and years). We also support a website backup feature in XML which can be used to back up and restore your date within minisite.
Q. Can I convert my existing website into a minisite™ to enjoy all the benefits that come with the system?
A. Yes we do offer this as a service and it is a very popular option. If you are interested please send us your web address and we will happily give you a quote for the work involved.
Q. Can I still use my existing email address with your system?
A. Yes we offer a number of options from forwarding through to a Gmail, Hotmail, individual POP Boxes and Exchange Email servers.
Q. What don't you allow?
A. We want all our users to be happy with their minisite™. To protect exisiting users and the integrity of our systems. The minisite system is not designed or intended for the following, this includes but is not limited to..
Hate Material, Pornography, Image or Media File Hosting/Serving, Proxy Servers, Hotlinking, Executables, Zipped Files, Viruses etc. etc.
We also reserve the right to limit access to any site that is monopolizing server resources to the detriment of other service users.

Q. I have some special web coding/development requirements, I dont see them listed as a features of minisite™, does this mean you can't help?
A. We have worked with many clients over the years to produce custom minisite™ solutions. Our sister operation Livetech are capable to dealing with just about any Web Technology solution you can think of and have been doing so for around ten years.
Q. Can I advertise on my website using third party services such as Google Adsense?
A. Yes you can providing you adhere to the following terms.
Adverts pertaining to material that users may find offensive are not allowed on any sites contained within the minisite system.

In order to maintain the quality of your site both visually and technically you should choose your adverts and services very carefully. Using a trusted third party such as Google Adsense can be beneficial as these often have stringent terms and conditions on what can and cannot be advertised.
minisite bears no responsibility to any impact that your custom advert solution may have on your website, it is also your responsibility to adhere to the advert servers terms and conditions.
NB: Advertising can be beneficial and generate revenue, but if used incorrectly, can deter people from visiting your web site.
